La féminisation de la figure héroïque dans la saison 7 de 24 heures chrono
Abstract
This article analyses the feminization of the hero in 24’s seventh season, by showing how six female characters go beyond traditional gender stereotypes to become the intrigue’s driving forces. Renée Walker and Allison Taylor appear in particular as heroic equivalents to Jack Bauer, whose almightiness is weakened throughout the season. Two secondary characters, Marika Donoso and Olivia Taylor, as well as two recurring characters, Chloe O’Brian and Kim Bauer, also go beyond stereotypes to offer more complex depictions of women to the viewers. Hence this seventh season seem to be a turning point in female characterization in 24.
