NOTE ABOUT THE OCCURRENCE OF PARASITOID CHELONUS SP. (HYMENOPTERA-BRACONIDAE) IN ITUMBIARA, GOIÁS, BRAZIL. NOTA SOBRE A OCORRÊNCIA DO PARASITÓIDE Chelonus sp. (HYMENOPTERA: BRACONIDAE) EM ITUMBIARA, GOIÁS, BRASIL

Abstract

<!-- @page { margin: 2cm } --> <p class="western" align="justify">The objective of this study was to report the first occurrence of the parasitoid <em>Chelonus sp.</em> in Itumbiara, GO, Brazil. The material here studied was collected in areas of pasture and native wood in Itumbiara, using yellow pan traps from January to December of 1998 and Maldisse trap from February to November of 2000. During the years of 1998 and 2000, 34 e 15 especimes of <em>Chelonus sp.</em> were collected, respectively.</p> <p class="western" align="justify">KEY-WORDS: <em>Hymenoptera</em>; <em>Braconidae</em>; <em>Chelonus</em>; parasitoid.</p><!-- @page { margin: 2cm } --> <p class="western" align="justify">O objetivo desse estudo é relatar a ocorrência do parasitóide <em>Chelonus sp.</em> em Itumbiara, GO (Brasil), em áreas de pastagens e de mata nativa, com coletas realizadas no período de janeiro a dezembro de 1998 e em bandejas amarelas de água, e em armadilhas Malaise de fevereiro a novembro de 2000. Durante esse período registraram-se 34 e 15 espécimes de <em>Chelonus sp.</em>, respectivamente.</p> <p class="western" align="justify">PALAVRAS-CHAVE: <em>Hymenoptera</em>; <em>Braconidae</em>; <em>Chelonus</em>; parasitóide.</p>
