A MICROFILMAGEM DE DOCUMENTOS DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE SANTA CATARINA: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE PRÁTICAS E NORMATIVAS ARQUIVÍSTICAS

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the process of documents microfilming and its applicability in theFederal University of Santa Catarina. We aimed to identify the differences and similaritiesbetween theory and practice required during the microfilming process. This is a qualitativeresearch, as we use a case study as the main method of investigation, which focuses onelucidating the occasional actions in complex everyday situations for treatment throughexperiments or data collection. Through a questionnaire we found the need for a DisposalAgreement and also a File System. We also presented the procedures adopted during themicrofilming process, from the selection of documents to be microfilmed to storage, alsostanding out the comparison between the hybrid system and microfilming exposing thelegality of the two systems, their advantages and disadvantages. However, we concluded thatonly with the implementation of a file systemthe management of all files will be possible.
