The use of colour. Variations on Anni Albers weaves

Abstract

The concept of 'variation' described by Josef Albers for the development of his educational methodology and extendedin his reference work Interaction of color, shows a ligature to the construction process of Anni Albers' textile reticle.It is a rigid support where it turns out physically impossible to mix colours. It is for this reason that Anni Albers research on weaving color is realized from highly stimulant resources.
