SPECIFICITY OF FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF STUDENTS OF THE LAW SCHOOL
Abstract
Goal. The article deals with actual problems of formation of professional consciousness of future lawyers in the system of higher education. The subject of analysis are the peculiarities of formation of professional consciousness of students of law University. The author aims to reveal the category “professional identity” and define its nature and importance in the formation of professional competence of future lawyers. Results. The results are that the author outlines the peculiarities of formation of professional consciousness of students of law University. Also identified components of professional identity: cognitive, emotionally-evaluative, motivational, and creative. On the basis of a survey of professional identity for law students the author provides a characterization of the levels of formation of professional identity. Performed modeling relations between all the components of professional identity on each course. It is revealed that the extension of professional identity of students is reflected in the increase in the number of features of professional activity, present in the mind of the student of the law school, bridging the stereotyped perception of the image of a professional, in recognizing himself in the context of professional activities. The scope of the results. The results of the study can be applied in the training of future lawyers in educational process of higher education.
