COMPARATIVE MORPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS REGARDING THE HUMAN AND CANINE MASTICATORY APPARATUS AND THE EQUIVALENT BIOLOGICAL MECHANISM TO DOG BIOMECHANISM

Abstract

A comparative morphological analysis of the masticatory apparatus of man and dog is presented. We start from the anatomical data of the masticatory apparatus and from the possible movements of these biological mechanisms. The paper proposes a biological mechanism equivalent to the biomechanism of the dog. The created mechanism can be used in the construction of some medical prostheses, in the construction of the gripping mechanisms of the robots, etc.
