Control Architecture Research and Function Module Design of Smart Home Application Based on OSGi

Abstract

The smart home application development and deployment requirement of operators were analyzed. Through comparing technical characteristics between the international mainstream open architecture platform OSGi and Android, an open service platform which can dynamically load and run third-party applications was proposed. On the basis, the function module design of home gateway supporting OSGi and control process definitions were also proposed. Finally, the future direction of research and development were summarized.
