Abstract

Se realiza un recorrido por la historia del Museo de Medicina Tropical Carlos J. Finlay desde su creación hasta la actualidad, a partir de una amplia revisión bibliografica y los datos obtenidos en entrevistas realizadas a personas que están hoy a su cargo y a otras, quienes, de algún modo, han estado relacionadas con la Institución. Se hace una descripción exhaustiva del Museo y se exponen las líneas de trabajo y los Servicios que en él se prestan.In this investigation we made a travel through the history of the Tropical Medicine Museum "Carlos J. Finlay" since its creation until now, to support in an extent bibliographical examination, that we obtained the information with people that actually are in charge and other people that have been related to the same topic. This way we present an exhaustive description about the history of the museum and we expose the way that the museum is working and the services that are given now.
