The Brother man of Fernando Soto Aparicio
Abstract
This paper aims to describe the book Hermano hombre by Fernando Soto Aparicio, based on their narrative structure, the characterization of the characters and some of its most representative reflections. The book, which meets in 2018 37 years of being published, raises as a conclusión within the paper that maintains its validity inasmuch as it makes a timeless assessment of the social reality of the country, both in remote regions and its main urban centers, about issues of continuing concern of the contemporary human being. As a conclusión, three lines of analysis are identified such as Soledad Sombra and Marino Altamar, the two main work characters, as well as the “Eclipse of Dios”, which is the title of the theatrical script that complements the novel. The methodological strategy of this work is descriptive, socio-juridical, qualitative and with consultation of the main sources: the original edition of the book and interviews semi-structured to its author.
