Abstract

This paper is intended for colleagues and students who don't know the Association of American Geographers annual meeting and who would question the relevance of their participation at the conference (hence the title). Through three points: the registration, the presentation and the program, it offers, in the form of a personal narrative designed to enjoy the best part of this international scientific event.
