Lexico-phraseological nature of a military metaphor in modern press

Abstract

The specificity of the modern language of mass media is a broad metaphorical use of the military lexicon. The article analyses the main features of the lexico-phraseological military metaphors in modern press, which appear in the lexico-semantic and lexico-grammatical characteristics of the military metaphor.
