The role and prospects of development of certified reference materials of chemical composition of natural and man-made environments in geoanalysis

Abstract

Emergence of requirements in the certified reference materials (CRMs) to perform chemical analysis of natural and man-made environments (geoanalysis); and formation of requirements to accuracy of results and quality management systems analysis are shown in the historical aspect. Creation of the multi-parameter CRMs of composition, size and quantity of mineral phases for geoanalysis are presented as new outlook.
