Method of the interval evaluation of technical systems reliability for the random variable with the two-parameter Weibull distribution

Abstract

The interval reliability evaluation method by applying the beta distribution quantile has been proposed in this paper. The comparison between this method and a similar one given in the international standard IEC 61649 has pointed out the possibility of this method application. The tables of confidence limits R1 and R2 for the interval reliability evaluation are passible to be formed which is illustrated by three of them. There are also three examples which illustrate the application of this method in practice.
