Systematic review of Literature about the approach of indigenous theme in the Science Education
Abstract
The current study consists on a systematic review of literature, conducted on the search bases of Portal de Periódicos CAPES in order to answer the following investigation question: how the indigenous theme has been addressed in the Science teaching on basic education of Brazil? To make this research, was considered a time clipping of 18 years to understand how this topic was being touched before and after the enactment of Law n° 11.645 dated 2008. In the aforesaid method of the article, were set the search strategies, the award criteria, inclusion, studies quality evaluation, the studies’ selection, the data extraction and result analysis, being made by textual synthesis of narrative. The search resulted on a quantity of eight manuscripts, being that three of these were excluded of the analysis and data discussion. By means of the reading and examination of these scripts found on search bases, was possible to conclude that the indigenous theme has been gradually addressed on Science teaching and that the analyzed studies presented restrictions concerning the Chemistry education on high school.
