METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS STUDY OF REGIONAL IDENTITY

Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of the study of regional identity. Purpose - to analyze the essence of the basic concepts and methodological approaches to the study of regional identity. This paper presents the point of view of political scientists and sociologists on the issue. Indicated that, when considering regional identity and needs analysis of the factors influencing its formation. It was determined that, to date, there are methodological and technical difficulties in the study of regional identity, the main reason - inconsistency apply the concepts in relation to the whole variety of specific situations in the regions.
