Accurate assessment of the health status of lithium-ion batteries is of great significance for the safety of energy storage systems. Based on the data of a practical lithium-ion energy storage power station, the key parameters that affect the health status of lithium-ion batteries were refined firstly. After that, the effect factors in terms of battery voltage standard score, charging capacity and coulomb efficiency were analyzed, respectively. The single factor indicators through the coefficient of variation method were weighted. Finally, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to quantitatively score the overall health status of batteries was used. According to the assessment, the lithium-ion batteries in the energy storage power station are in good overall health. 91.67% of the lithium-ion batteries have a health score of more than 85, and the remaining 8.33% of the lithium-ion batteries have a health score of less than 85 but still higher than 80. In addition, it is found from the single factor assessment that the consistency of batteries is poor. It is necessary to strengthen the observation of this part of the batteries. This paper provides a quantitative and in-situ non-destructive health status assessment method for lithium-ion batteries based on operation data, which has reference significance for guiding the operation and maintenance of energy storage power stations and ensuring the safe and stable operation.
