Surgery is the most important method for the treatment of gastric cancer, but a series of complications will occur after gastric cancer surgery, the most common complication is gastrointestinal dysfunction, affecting the quality of life and rehabilitation of patients. As a traditional treatment method, Chinese medicine in the treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction after gastric cancer surgery has been gradually recognized in recent years. This article reviews the research progress of Chinese medicine in the treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction after gastric cancer surgery, including the application of Chinese medicine treatment, acupuncture treatment, acupoint application and so on, to provide reference for the treatment of gastrointestinal function after gastric cancer surgery.
