This research is intended to consider the Psychometric characteristics of Feeling Security Scale (TFSS) in Tehran. 3103 Tehrani citizens filled in this form. The Scale validity was checked for its content Validity (referees contingency coefficient) and construct validity (Factor analysis). The results of referee’s contingency coefficient showed that all the obtained coefficients were above 92% which were acceptable and satisfying. From the results of factors analysis for construct validity, five Factors were extracted. The factors were named after the theoretical basis and the contents of the questions such as life security, chastity security, individual economical security, public economical security and social security. The reliability of the scale was estimated through internal consistency using Cronbach Alpha coefficient. The least reliability was observed for the public economical security (α= 0.87) and the most was calculated for reliability social security (α=0.97). finally, the criteria was based on T scores and the profile of the test for comparing different feelings of security. On the whole, the coefficients obtained from validity and reliability of TFSS were desirable at the level of P<0.001. The results of TFSS indicated, highly reliable for being used in the recognition of feeling security in Tehran.
