Slovensko-italijanska državna meja : The State Border between Slovenia and Italy

Abstract

The border between Italy and Slovenia has been fixed by international agreements, which Slovenia has taken up from ex-Yugoslavia as its legal successor by The Basic constitutional charter on the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Slovenia in 1991. A definition of the basic concepts of the state border and state territory is given. The text describes the agreements that marked the state border, it discusses how the border was drawn and how it has been kept.
