On Stereographic Semicircular Quasi Lindley Distribution

Abstract

In this paper, we made anattempt to construct a new Semicircular model, we call this as “StereographicSemicircularQuasi Lindleydistribution,” by applying modified inverse Stereographicprojection on Quasi Lindley distribution (Rama and Mishra (2013)) for modelingsemicircular data. Probability density and cumulative distribution functions ofsaid model are derived and their graphs are plotted for various values of parameters.The first two trigonometric moments are derived and the proposed model isextended for l-axial data also.
