TEACHING SCHOOLCHILDREN SPEECH STRATEGIES AND TACTICS WHEN WORKING WITH SCHOOL PRESS
Abstract
This article addresses the problem of formation of communicative competence among students in the secondary school. The authors consider formation of communicative competence in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard, highlighting in this process the mastery of speech strategies and tactics. It is proved that training in speech strategies and tactics can also be carried out in extra-curricular activities when students create school press. Based on the connection between journalistic genres and speech strategies and tactics, the authors offer a set of exercises aimed at mastering schoolchildren's speech strategies and tactics. The proposed complex includes three blocks, taking into account those journalistic genres that the students create: a block of exercises to write an article, a block of exercises to make a reportage, a block of exercises to interview. It is described what speech strategies and tactics schoolchildren master in the process of writing texts of different genres. The structure of the block of exercises is presented: familiarity with the features of the genre, preparatory exercises, exercises for writing texts for the school press, the connection of the proposed complex with linguistic and speech knowledge and linguistic and speech skills. The authors describe the possibility of including other publicistic genres in the given complex, thus arguing the potential of the school press in the aspect of formation of communicative competence of schoolchildren.
