Abstract

The Internet provides users with access to online health information; however, identifying relevant and valid information can be problematic. Our objectives were firstly to investigate the efficiency of search-en-gines, and then to assess the quality of online information pertaining to the specialized medical area of neuromuscular diseases. In this paper we present the theoretical framework and its computational implementation for the elaboration and exploitation of an electronic bilingual corpus (French-Spanish) related to neuromuscular diseases.
