O método de leitura à primeira vista ao piano de Wilhelm Keilmann e sua fundamentação teórica

Abstract

This article aims at analyzing the foundation methods of teaching sight reading at the piano as proposed by Wilhelm Keilmann in his Introduction to Sight Reading at the Piano or other Keyboard Instrument. A bibliographic research identified the cognitive capabilities and skills that are involved in sight reading at the piano and other musical instruments, and verified the pedagogical effectiveness of this methodology.
