Blagovest Sendov – Pioneer of Mathematical Modeling in Bulgaria

In February 2012 Prof. Blagovest Sendov turned 80. I first met him in 1963 as a student in mathematics at the Department of Physics and Mathematics of Sofia University. I was fascinated by his lectures in Numerical Methods. His first lecture was devoted to Mathematical modeling.
