Preliminary Data on Chironomid Fauna (Chironomidae, Diptera, Insecta) of Kharbey Lakes

Abstract

The chironomid fauna of two lakes from Kharbey lake system has been studied. A list of chironomid taxa based on identifications of larvae is presented. Chironomid assemblages of Bolshoi Kharbei Lake in different years (1978, 1998, 2009) were compared. Depth and habitat type distribution of larvae has been analyzed
