A rare case of an intraneural ganglion cyst of the median nerve

Abstract

Intraneural ganglion cysts are a relatively uncommon type of ganglion cyst that can affect peripheral nerves. They are particularly rare in the upper limb, and even more so in the median nerve, with the vast majority of them occurring in the peroneal nerves. This paper aims to make the reader aware of this relatively uncommon condition.
