Inégalités et pluralité de l’action chez Bernard Lahire

Abstract

This contribution tries to clarify certain edges of Bernard Lahire's sociological work between 1993 and 2005. The proposed reflexive and critical approach questions the posture of the researcher of Lyon under the angle of its epistemological and methodological frames. Three aspects are mainly treated: the contributions Culture écrite et inégalités scolaires (1993), the theory of the plurality of action in L’Homme pluriel (1998) and the treatment of the description in L’Esprit sociologique (2005). The point of view on Lahire’s scientific work is at first comprehensive, while identifying some critical points.
