Abstract

In these pages the thought of Giuseppe Capograssi is analyzed in the light of the peace-war binomial following the ‘catastrophe’ of the Second World War. Once outlined the close relationship between State and war in the legal experience of the Twentieth century, the essay focuses on the Catholic roots and legal pluralism that characterize the thought of Capograssi.
