Pedagogy in political construction and democracy for the transformation of society
Abstract
To address the training of high school students in Educational Institutions, located in Ocaña Norte de Santander; It requires the design of a model of pedagogical strategies that allow young people to appropriate the Political Constitution and Democracy, not only as a teaching-learning process in which knowledge is received, but also to promote understanding and apprehension of what their actions should be like as a citizen, in the face of responsibility for the fulfillment of duties and then being able to claim and demand their rights as Colombians. From the Ministry of National Education, through Law 115 in its article 78, guidelines are stipulated in the area of Social Sciences for basic and secondary education, which include the contents concerning the Political Constitution and Democracy, considered mandatory. ; however, the absence of guidelines to address such content can be noted. This is where the shortcomings lie, if one takes into account that each teacher has the faculty and freedom to approach the chair at their own will and convenience. For this reason: some of the issues run the risk of not being addressed because they are considered less important, or that they are only addressed, those that are related to school electoral processes.
