This paper presents a South Madrid Linking Classroom experience from its very beginning. It is an organizational alternative action that, as part of the Welcome Schools Program, comes out as a way to face increasing diversity as a result of immigration. Proposed action aims to develop complementary ways to support students' integration in Madrid publicly-funded schools.
