Investigated of the optical properties for SiO2 by using Lorentz model

Abstract

In this work, the optical characteristics of SiO2 (refractive index [nn], dielectric constant [εr{\varepsilon }_{{\rm{r}}}], reflectivity [R], transmissivity [T], absorptivity [A], and absorption coefficient [α]) were studied using the Lorentz model. A comparison was made with the practical results of previous studies and showed a good agreement.
