This article presents an evaluation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of large retailers in the city of Montería, Colombia. The document presents the results of a research project developed by Corporación Universitaria Americana and Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. The methodology used included a questionnaire that examines five dimensions of CSR: customers, employees, suppliers, community and environment. Particular attention is paid to the views of employees and customers, who emphasize that the quality of products and services is important, as well as retailers offering fair and competitive prices. This comparative analysis sheds light on the areas in which large retailers are achieving high CSR standards and highlights environmental responsibility as a weak point.
