Geoinformation space of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to analyze the development of information orientation of communication flows of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine web portal and their semantic core. The methodology is based on systemic and structural approaches, on the methods of comparative, logical, and structural-functional analysis. Scientific novelty. The structure of communication between a user and the library representation in the Google search engine is discussed on the example of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine, and the orientation of the library is analyzed. The main parameters influencing the development of library web resources in general are established, and the mechanisms of influence of hypertext links are analyzed in detail. Several solutions for the functioning and development of the web portal in the information space are proposed. The possibility of spreading information flow of the library outside Ukraine, as well as the management of geoinformation space in general thanks to the mechanisms of internal site optimization and work with content by strengthening them with hypertext links is proven. Conclusions. Semantic analysis of the structure of library websites is part of SEO-optimization, which allows the most effective use of information and communication technologies, and allows to spread information around the world via the Google network. It is important to note that the SSTL website is being actively developed and ranks first among the news and products published in Ukrainian and English on the Internet segment of the United States. The building of information core allows predicting search results on the Google network while creating a product in demand. Targeting of information and predicting the Internet demand of users increase the efficiency of the end product and allow to efficiently use labor costs in order to achieve set goals. Studying the work of each step of the complex process of creating library web resources increases the efficiency of spreading information in Google and improves library services to users. The efficient work on the materials coming to the library would result in their quick appearance in different countries in Google search engine. This technology would make it possible to be the first source, thus allowing to shape one's information space and take over the main traffic from Google search.
