The study corrects dictionary articles and texts from various histories of literature regarding the year and publication in which Eugen Simion debuted in the cultural press, indicating, as the correct year of debut, the year of his graduation from the faculty, 1957, respectively the publication „Gazeta literară” (“The Literary Gazette”), year IV, no. 29 (175), Thursday, July 18, 1957.
