PENGAJIAN UMUM DAN KEPERLUAN SEKTOR SWASTA (General Studies and the Needs in Private Sectors)

Abstract

The philosophy of general studies in university emphasizes approaches that attempt to integrate and incorporate students’ existing knowledge which has been mapped based on their respective academic disciplines. The integration of this knowledge is pivotal to the graduates so as to inculcate an understanding that academic disciplines and knowledge are boundless and unlimited. Owing to the diversities of knowledge the real world presents, the graduates need to be reoriented and exposed to the practice of integrating their existing knowledge with other disciplines of knowledge in order to make it look complete and skillful.
