Application of quality control circle activities to improve the hospitalized children's adherence to Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application (提高住院患儿中药穴位贴敷依从性的品管圈实践)

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities to improve the hospitalized children's adherence to Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application. Methods A QCC team was established to analyze potential causes of poor adherence to Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application among hospitalized children. Main influencing factors were skin allergy, low awareness of parents and inadequate health education. A standard QCC procedure was conducted to improve the children's adherence to Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application in perspectives of multiple ways of health education, modified system and process and anti-allergy measures. The implementation condition of Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application in 360 cases before QCC activities and 360 cases after QCC activities was evaluated. Results The rate of adherence to Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application had increased form 74. 72% before QCC activities to 92. 22% after QCC activities. Conclusion The QCC process is an effective management tool to improve the hospitalized children's adherence to Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application. (目的 通过开展品管圈活动提高住院患儿中药穴位贴敷依从性。方法 科室成立品管圈活动小组, 分析医院住院患儿中药穴位贴敷依从率低的原因, 主要包括患儿皮肤过敏、家长缺乏相关知识、护士宣教不到位等。按照现状把握、解析、对策拟定等品管圈活动步骤, 从多形式的健康宣教、修订制度流程及抗过敏措施等方面进行持续改进。分别调查品管圈活动前(2024年2月1日—2月29日)360例次和品管圈活动后(2024年5月13日—6月12日)360例次患儿中药穴位贴敷实施情况。结果 患儿中药穴位贴敷依从率由实施前的74. 72%提升至实施后的92. 22%。结论 品管圈活动的开展, 有效提高了住院患儿中药穴位贴敷依从率。)
