Le pseudonyme sur le web social : un ethos discursif préalable

Abstract

In this research, we are interested in the pseudonyms that Algerian Internet users use in their Facebook account. The crux of our concern lies around the issue of the discursive ethos of Facebookers. We believe that these pseudonyms are masks used not to "lie false" but to "lie true". They are considered as prior speeches that serve to present the name. To confirm this, we will proceed with the content analysis of the writings published by Internet users using lexicometric methods and tools. To identify the identifying clues that emanate from both pseudonyms and discourse, we refer to René L’Ecuyer’s self-image grid.
