Abstract

Verbs with the Element „си” / „sobie” in Bulgarian and Polish Languages: The paper examines the phenomenon of reflexive personal pronouns for the dative case, used with verbs in several Slavic languages. The author offers a systematised approach towards the functions of the element „си“ / „sobie” in the Bulgarian and Polish languages, revealing its roles both as a pronoun, or as a particle with different meaning. Comparisons between Bulgarian and Polish variations of this phenomenon suggests further research in those, as well as in other Slavic languages.
