Research on Anti-overturning Device of Urban Rail Transit Trains
Abstract
Objective During the operation of urban rail transit trains, incidents such as collisions, derailments and overturning may occur. It is essential to study the dynamic behavior of trains and the technology to prevent overturning under these conditions. Method Combining the actual vehicle windshield structure and vehicle dynamic envelope during operation, a scheme is proposed to install safety belt ropes as an inter-vehicle anti-overturning device, and the structure and interface position of the device are explained elaborately. A corresponding dynamics simulation model is established based on the dynamics parameters of urban rail transit trains. Considering the actual conditions of vehicle overturning scenarios, dynamics simulation analysis is conducted for trains with and without anti-overturning device, and the anti-overturning device is set up at appropriate positions. The effectiveness of the anti-overturning device is verified through dynamics simulation software, and the static strength of the anti-overturning device mounting seat is checked by calculation. Result & Conclusion The safety belt rope anti-overturning device installed between vehicles can effectively reduce vehicle rolling angle under overturning forces, preventing the carbody from overturning due to the excessive rolling angles, thereby meeting design requirements. Under maximum tensile force action, the static strength of the safety belt rope anti-overturning device mounting seat does not exceed allowable stress, and its structural strength meets the requirements specified in relevant standards.
