Ajustements temporels d’une expérience de recherche par le film
Abstract
The aim of this article is to take a behind-the-scenes look at the scientific and filmic choices involved in conducting a field survey. The role of temporality is central to the transformation of field experience. The filmic component of our research led us to explicate differentiated relationships to time, blurring our initial perimeters and opening up new avenues of questioning. By freeing ourselves from the time dictated by the narrative of a transformation, the investigation targeted the everyday social and political order, introducing a recording chamber for a possible counter-narrative, a posteriori.
