This work aims to highlight the importance and necessity of initial and continuing training of teachers to attend children with intellectual disabilities and global developmental disorders in schools, especially after law No. 13,146, of 06 July 2015, to ensure and promote, under conditions of equality, the rights of persons with disabilities, with a view to their social inclusion and citizenship.
