Electroweak boson production at LHCb

Abstract

Measurements of W and Z boson production provide important tests of the Standard Model as well as being inputs for determining the parton density functions of the proton. W and Z production cross-sections, and their ratios, have been measured using the LHCb detector and are reported here. Datasets of up to 1 fb−1 at √s = 7 TeV are used.
