CINTA VAGINAL LIBRE DE TENSION EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE LA INCONTINENCIA DE ORINA FEMENINA. UNA NUEVA FORMA DE INSERCION: A TRAVES DEL AGUJERO OBTURADOR (CLT-AO)
Abstract
Las cintas vaginales libres de tensión en sus distintas modalidades se han hecho populares en el mundo entero desde la década de los 90 para el tratamiento de la incontinencia urinaria femenina. En la literatura destaca la lesión vesical como la principal complicación. Inspirados en Delorme, hemos desarrollado una técnica con paso de la cinta con aguja a través del agujero obturador, con el objeto de evitar el contacto con la vejiga. Entre noviembre de 2002 y abril de 2003 operamos 18 pacientes con esta técnica. No observamos ninguna lesión vesical y luego de un seguimiento promedio de 6 meses, el 100% de las pacientes está continente. Se muestra la técnica quirúrgica y se discuten sus indicacionesThe tension-free vaginal tape for female urinary incontinence has become very popular since the 90's. Most of the reports show bladder lesions as the major complication of the procedure. Inspired by Delorme, we have developed a procedure placing the tape with needles via a transobturator approach as a way of avoiding the pass through the retropubic space, close to the bladder. We operated 18 patients between november 2002 and april 2003. We had no bladder injuries and after an average follow up of 6 months, all of the patients are continent. The surgical technique is shown and its indications discussed
