Throghout this paper, each type of relations and aspects such as political, social and economic ones, between the early Ottoman World and the Italian will be discusssed and their effects to the art will be expressed. Economic affairs between the Ottomans and the Italians kept a relationship. The political connections developed with commercial relations. The relations started at the time of Anatdionseljuks, flourished during the Menteşeoğulları and Aydınoğulları and improved durng the Ottomans. The Beylik of Menteşeoğulları unovoidably established some commercial and political relations with the Latins. As a result some works (The Mosque of Milas Ulu the Mosque of Ahmet Gazi and the Madrassah of Ahmet Gazi in Pecin) had Latin effects. Consequently, a view supported by some reasons has been discussed in this paper. This view can be expressed in a way that densely commercial and political relations have led to the Latin effects in some buildings of the early Ottoman Art and Architecture.
