FORMATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL COMPETENCE BY EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS
Abstract
The article describes the high potential technology project activities in the course of formation of ecological competence through the studying of wildlife of the urbanized environment. Ecological competence is the purpose of modern ecological education. This is a necessary condition for the formation of the initiative, creative, active personality who understands the importance of ecological problems of our time, who understand their causes and possible consequences, who able to implementation a solution of environmental problems the entire biosphere. The inclusion of technology project activities in the educational process promotes understanding, awareness and practical solution of ecological problems of its environment. This approach to learning combines a science education, the development of personal qualities and practical skills. The article defines the concept of "ecological competence ", presented its components: value-semantic, cognitive, behavioral. We considers the basic features of the project activities, allocated didactic principles implemented in project activities in the process formation of ecological competence. Also in the article presents the system of educational projects in elective course "World wildlife in hometown", which reflects the correlation between the components of ecological competence, aspects of consciousness personality and functions of the training project.
