WAYANG BEBER SEBAGAI MATERI PELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA

Abstract: Wayang Beber as Instructional Material of Arts and Culture. This study aims to describe the teaching and learning process of arts and culture based on uniqueness and local wisdom using wayang beber (beber puppets) material, and to identify the factors which support and hinder the process. The study was carried out in the State Senior High School (SMAN) of Punung, Pacitan regency, a school that implements the method. It is a qualitative study, in which the data were collected through in­terviews, observations, focused group discussions, and document analyses, and analyzed using the in­teractive method of analysis. The results show that the teaching learning process is initiated by designing a syllabus, lesson plans, and developing instructional materials on wayang beber. The factors that support the teaching and learning process include the commitment from the local government of Pacitan re­gency, the school, and the teachers, as well as the students’ enthusiasm to learn about wayang beber as part of the local contents that reflects local wisdom. The hindering factors, on the other hand, are limited time allocation for the Arts and Culture subject, and limited number of teachers and learning facilities for the subject. The model and teaching learning strategy employed is the balanced integration model. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menge­tahui proses pembelajaran seni budaya berbasis keunikan dan kearifan lokal dengan materi wayang beber di SMA Negeri Punung Kabupaten Pacitan, dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan peng­hambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara, FGD, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran seni budaya dengan materi wayang beber di SMA Negeri Punung diawali menyusun silabus, RPP, dan menyusun materi pembela­jaran tentang wayang beber. Faktor pendukung adalah komitmen pemerintah kabupaten Pacitan, seko­lah, guru, dan antusiasme siswa untuk memelajari wayang beber sebagai muatan kearifan lokal. Faktor penghambat dalam pembelajaran adalah terbatasnya jam pelajaran seni budaya, minimnya guru seni budaya, dan terbatasnya sarana-prasarana pembelajaran. Model dan strategi pembelajaran menggunakan model integrasi berkeseimbangan. Kata kunci: seni budaya, keunikan dan kearifan lokal, wayang beber
