Educational Use of Programs Supporting Design Engineering

Abstract

The paper presents the profile of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) programs in the student teaching process. There are presented the CAD/CAE programs and the teaching process at the technical university is described. Teaching aids, which support teaching of students, are listed and explained. It is described the 3D printing and reverse engineering technology, which closely correspond with the CAD/CAE programs.
