Problématique sémantique dans le discours fictionnel équato-guinéen : démémoire discursive dans Bëtápànó (recuerdos) de Juan Riochí Siafá

Abstract

The novel Bëtápànó (2017) falls within the paradigm of memorial texts. Its memorial nature –recuerdos (recollections) –, the autobiographical writing marked by dictatorship and the changes in meaning highlighted through prediscourses, are concrete enough grounds to submit this corpus to the analytical grid of discursive memory. The aim was to show how the anteriorities and exteriorities of the fictional discourse are vectors of semantic shifts in the discursive chain; hence the discursive desmemory. It emerges that names of places and persons are flexible designators inducing semantic variations due to their multi-referentiality and the symbolic, cultural and ideological charges conferred on them by locutionary uses.
