Development of American Military System Engineering and Enlightenment

Abstract

Systematic battlefield environment makes the interaction between equipment system and combat system complex. In the process of equipment system construction in joint combat environment, the importance of system engineering is becoming more and more prominent. After long-term accumulation and exploration, the system engineering of the US military continues to mature, which has effectively promoted the construction of equipment system under the joint combat system. This paper studies the role and application of the US military system engineering. Combined with the development process of NIFC-CA system engineering and the demand demonstration mechanism of the US Department of Defense.The characteristics of the US military equipment system construction is summarized, and the enlightenment to the construction of domestic weapon and equipment system is puts forward.
