OVERVIEW AND CLASSIFICATION OF PERMANENT OFFSHORE PLATFORMS FOR SHELF WORKING

Abstract

This article is dedicated to permanent offshore platforms for shelf working. The authors present the schematic diagram that indicates group classifications of permanent offshore platforms. The diagram describes types of permanent offshore platforms according to their attachment to the seabed. The article introduces the scheme of load action on various mounts in elastic permanent offshore platforms and drawings of various permanent offshore platforms.
